Description: This newest yeast, just released in the summer of 2013 by Lalvin, is designed to ferment highly clarified juices. It is used for Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Colombard, and Semillon for production of fresh, fruity, clean wines. Lalvin QA23™ has low nutrient and oxygen requirements, and it has been known to ferment juice at low temperatures (15 °C/59 °F) to dryness.
